What Information We Gather/Track

We also receive and may store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. Use of Your Email Address

If you provide us with your email address we will occasionally send you email with recommendations or notices of new products, prices and services. You may block future email of this type simply by returning the email with a request to be removed from our mailing list. Separately, we send service notifications to Planet English Distributors and Licensees via email to keep you informed about the status of your service and to provide updates and technical notices. These messages are essential and there is no opt-out available for service notifications. These messages cannot be blocked.

Who We Share It With

Planet Learning will not sell, rent or lease your personally identifiable information to others. Unless we have your permission or are required by law, we will only share the personal data you provide online with other Planet Learning entities and/or business partners who are acting on our behalf for the uses described in "Use of Data". By contract, third parties such as Planet English distributors and Licensees must comply with their own privacy policies with regard to the renting, selling or sharing of information. As partners of Planet Learning, they must also offer Planet Learning customers the chance to opt out of information sharing.

Feedback

We collect user feedback about the site, but do not typically respond to individual emails. We may choose to post testimonials but will only identify senders after we have obtained permission from them to do so. Otherwise the testimonial will only be posted with non-identifying information as to the sender. Users who would like a response to specific questions are directed to the appropriate area in the Support section. These questions will be responded to as quickly as possible. We read all of our client service queries and use the information contained therein only to resolve the question at hand. Such information may also be added to our various FAQ pages and to our support knowledge database, but will be done so with no identifying information. We also post surveys on our site from time to time. These surveys are optional. The information is collected to better understand our user population. It is not sold or provided to anyone other than our business partners for use as described above in 'Use of Data'.
